We are excited to announce an amazing opportunity that we were able to create with the support of the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th!

The Passport 150 Project began as a vision to introduce 150 people to some of Calgary and Alberta’s landmark venues to celebrate Canada 150 and explore our rich and diverse history and culture.

This program provides 25 families of six with opportunities to explore Fort Calgary, the Glenbow Museum, and Heritage Park.  We added tickets to a CFL game by way of including exposure to one of Canada’s most popular sporting pastimes!  The Passport 150 provides families with a summer of fun filled activities to celebrate Canada 150.  We are grateful for all of the support we received to launch this project! Thank you!

Our first recipients to receive the Passport 150 were kids and families from Calgary Catholic Immigration Society!  Thank you, Tatjana and all of your staff for your efforts to coordinate all of our schedules and gather us for a photo!  It was a pleasure to meet everyone and and to share our project in such a meaningful way!  Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, and the treats and ice cream made by Tulan!

We know these kids and families will enjoy a summer of celebrating Canada 150!

This initiative is made possible by the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th, a collaboration between Calgary Foundation, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast to coast.
